Schedule a time for her to get the delivery and have some for yourself too. Then, enjoy it together and go on a video call to chat and enjoy each other’s company as you eat.

Go on a movie date

Watch a movie together. Tune in on a movie or even a K-drama at the same time and you can go an extra mile and send her her favorite snacks. This is a great way to bond and even gush over your favorite Korean actors.

If you can’t visit her. You can extend your mother’s day wishes by sending her flowers or crafts, or homemade cards. Plus points if you have children, as she will enjoy looking at their drawings and notes.

Bring her essentials.

It may be difficult for her to be away from family, so make things as easy for her as possible. Check up on what she needs or what essentials (especially medicines) she’s running low on. Buy it for her and have delivery drop it off in her place.

Sign up together on a virtual class that your mother would surely enjoy. Whether’s it’s calligraphy, flower arrangement, cross-stitching, knitting, watercolor painting, blogging, or scrap-booking.

There are many activities that you can do together even when you are practicing social distancing measures.

What you have to keep in mind is that safety and health comes first at this time. And it’s important to also encourage your elderly mothers to stay at home because they are the most vulnerable age group at this time.
